About Us
We started Walnut Fern to share our love of midcentury design. We primarily work with walnut because we love the depth and richness it brings to this style. Our family team consists of Andreea and Spencer, who design and build the side tables and art pieces, and Spencer’s father Lance who turns wood bowls. Lance has over 45 years of woodworking experience, building houses, renovating kitchens, building furniture, lamps, and wood art. All of us love tinkering with various materials and processes to create unique wood pieces.
